I work out 5 times a week, at least, for 30 minutes a day, again, at least.
I watch everything I eat and not just as it goes from my plate to my mouth.
I am making no progress.
Sigh.
...and other things that make me fat

Give us an example of what you're eating and drinking during an average day.
You are doing something!!! that's great!!!
drink water...
'chick: For breakfast I eat a biscuit w/bacon (it's around 200 calories)
For lunch I eat (normally) a turkey sandwich and some vegetable (around 350 calories)
For dinner I eat whatever I'm fixing that night but keep the calorie count around 550-600.
I drink at least 4 27oz bottles of water a day.
NoR: I am but it's like for no reason :(
hmm... seems you went right to a plateau. have faith. how about bringing a hand weight to work and when you get bored or frustrated lift it a few times.
Drag.I recommend tons of stress. I lost a ton of weight when my boyfriend was in the hospital...Okay. Maybe not. It's a bad way to lose weight, it's just really effective.
For some people stress makes them gain weight...Susan, I thought you had been losing weight regularly - did you have a plateau then?
Hey, Susan! Been forever since I've read anyone's blog; I'm glad to see you're still writing. Yay!
Anyway, I'm going to refer you to the Primal Blueprint. The basis of the diet is meat, veggies, and some fruits...basically unprocessed foods. No grains, very minimal sugars, and a moderate-high amount of fat. I've lost about 30 lbs. in 6ish months with a lot of variance in my following the guidelines. It has been really easy and become like second-nature (or perhaps it's really more like relearned first-nature).
Can hardly believe you're in married bliss now! I've missed so much.
wow, first time ive checked out any blogs in like oh I don't know, foreeeeeever! I see a lot of the same names around(whats up roadchick, noregrets?) though which is cool. But I see some things have changed of course.
