bye bye baby bye bye

At least, bye bye my biological clock that had slightly started ticking. To hell with that. It has officially stopped ticked and sprung a few screws. You know how on old cartoons someone would smash them and springs would pop out from everywhere? That's my clock. For awhile now I haven't really wanted to have children. Don't get me wrong: I love kids--just prefer to be able to send them packin' home to their parent(s) when the day is done.

What made this clock bust? Daisy, aka the most in your face omg omg omg I must run omg omg omg I will bark at you if you attempt doing anything other than paying me attention. Oh and did OMG OMG OMG very high pitched bark. When even Jasper, who is in love with Daisy and won't leave her alone, is like "damn dog, enough with the run run run bark bark bark" and goes into hiding you can tell how the night's going. On the upside, she hasn't used the bathroom in the house in the last 24 hours which is a giant plus. She doesn't like dog treats so reinforcing her being potty trained is a bit rough. She does, however, love to be loved so a "good puppppy" and me petting her seems to be moving mountains.

This morning when we went outside I didn't realize it'd been raining until it was too late and she had disappeared into a pile of soaked leaves. Thus when I should have been at work I sat in my bathroom trying to dry a shivering dog.

I wonder when this blog will go back to being about something other than my dog? Honestly she's the most interesting thing going on in my life right now. I'm doing a few things (ok, I'm working on doing a few drastic things) but I decided not to talk about them until I see how they go.

This weekend the RHPS is showing again. I just so happen to have a maid's outfit that I might wear. Jolly Green will be dressed as Dr. Frank again which will be priceless.

"Things that make you go hmmm" is on the radio at work. In comments, what makes you go hmmmm.

Believe it or not, but you can train her out of that. My sister in law was able to do it, so can you...

The 'chick has raised dogs and the 'chick has raised kids.

Kids are easier.

They speak English.

They can be grounded.

And, if you play your cards right, they'll move out.
